Please note that there is no SIXT branch inside the airport. We offer a complementary shuttle service to our branch located in Plaza Futura less than 10 minutes away. Please do not follow the signs leading you to "Rent a Car". Proceed to exit the terminal through the arrivals exit doors (where the red taxis are parked) and turn left to reach the outdoor coffee shop. There you will find our shuttle pick up, running every 10-15 minutes.

Wow. Renting a car can sometimes be a difficult and stressful situation. However, Brian from SIXT went above and beyond to accommodate us. We arrived nearly 3 hours before we were suppose to be there and he kindly made sure we got in the car and were able to begin our drive early. He waived an early fee for us and was constantly assuring us we can call him for anything we need. It was an unbelievably easy process and Brian could not have been nicer and more helpful each step of the way. I will recommend this company to anyone going to CR. Before we left he told us to enjoy his beautiful country and that we did! It was an incredible trip in an incredible place largely thanks to Brian's incredible service.

We overall had a great experience. PROS: New cars! We had a 2024, and it all all the creature comforts. Service was quick, and there were no surprises. The drop off was the easiest part….again, no surprises. CONS: Our car had 1 tire with a slow leak. I didnt say anything because I didnt want to be blamed for it, but it was obvious this tire had been leaking for a long time…tires didnt look the greatest. Also be aware they may ask you to show a personalized letter from your credit card proving it has insurance coverage. Luckily we had ours!
