The minimum age for a SIXT rental in Norway is 19, with a driver’s license held for at least 1 year. Some car categories have a higher minimum age, and an underage driver fee applies to those under 23.
Winter tires are put on SIXT cars in Norway from Nov. 1 until April 30. A winter service fee may be added to your rental if it’s not already included. A ski box or roof rack may also be available for station wagon rentals.
We accept all major credit cards as payment in Norway. Prepaid and debit cards, along with cash, are not accepted as payment.
Cross-border rentals are allowed to Denmark, Sweden and Finland. For other countries, written permission from SIXT is required, as well as some residency requirements.
